It is obvious that the country is vigorously promoting environmental governance at the policy level. Since 2013, major cities across the country have become increasingly concerned about haze. Numerous data shows that the air quality in China's first and second tier cities is continuously declining, which directly endangers the health of the vast majority of urban residents. In 2014, relevant departments of the country increased their efforts to control urban air pollution problems such as haze, but the results were limited. Currently, various governance methods are urgently needed in various fields. For the paint industry, the introduction of these policies will constrain the emission of VOCs, thereby contributing to the control of haze. Of course, to a certain extent, policies will also effectively promote the adjustment of industrial structure.
